Our Programs

Florida Youth Maritime Training provides approved vocational training to be an American Boat and Yacht Council "Marine Service Technician".  Successfully completing the "Marine Service Technician" assessment leads to recognition by the American Boat and Yacht Council as well as National Occupational Competency Testing Institute

Our High School Program teaches High School Freshman, Safe Boating as well as basic rowing and sailing skills.  Our Sophomore Year program teaches basic boat building and keel boat sailing. Our Junior Year program expands on those skills and takes students for some adventure sailing like to the Dry Tortugas and beyond.  Our Senior Year program enrolls young people into our "Marine Service Technician" program and then allows them to progress into the Merchant Mariner Program.
